Paul Seroka
Marketing and Growth Strategy Practice Leader

Paul Seroka has served as a board-level corporate development advisor to hundreds of executives, private investors and entrepreneurs.  He focuses on corporate development, strategic marketing and works with creative professionals to apply digital and social media technology to help executives achieve their business-oriented objectives.   His practice areas are Branding / Corporate Communications, Business Development / Marketing Strategy, Customer / Media / Investor Relations, and  Financial Advisory / Tax Services.  

His management consulting services include customer acquisition, lead generation, online reputation management and relationship building programs across multiple disciplines. He has developed integrated marketing programs using web, direct/e-marketing, public relations events, social media, broadcast, SEO/PPC, conferences, trade shows, investor relations and online reputation management.

Over the past 30 years, Paul has acquired an expertise in the consumer products, financial services, food service, energy, real estate, and professional service market segments.  Between 1995 and 2002, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at three high-growth companies while providing services to his corporate clients and earning a NYU e-commerce certificate.  He has provided management advisory services to over 65 organizations, including leading companies such as Apple, IBM, Nestle Foods, and Time Inc.  

Seroka brings a global management perspective to each engagement and enjoys supporting clients that desire working with a results-oriented, strategic marketing communications professional.   He completed the TRIUM MBA degree, a global executive management program conferred by the NYU Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC School of Management in Paris.  He is an executive and organizational coach certified by New York University.  Before he started his consulting career, Paul earned an M.A. degree in Public Affairs from Fordham University, and a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Oswego State University.

Mark Misercola
Communications Practice Leader

Mark Misercola is a corporate communications strategist who specializes in connecting organizational goals and objectives with communications strategies and messaging positioned to the unique needs of their target audiences. He has worked with Paul Seroka for the past 30 years on many client engagements.

Mark has served in senior communications roles at Pfizer, Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, KPMG and NYNEX.

A former speechwriter, Mark has written for senior executives at Pricewaterhouse-Coopers, Avon, IBM, NYNEX, Union Carbide and PepsiCo.  He began his career as a business reporter with the Buffalo News and former Courier-Express.  Mark also teaches advertising, marketing communications and public relations as an adjunct professor at Baruch College, Manhattanville College, and Western Connecticut State University.

Michael DeMartin
Visual Identity Practice Leader

Michael DeMartin is an award-winning designer with over 20 years experience designing and producing new and traditional communications for clients including Disney, Ingersoll Rand, Comcast, News America Marketing, Fox Cable News, Capitol EMI, Warner Bros., and other industry leaders.

Michael also serves as a strategic consultant, working with companies regarding new and emerging technologies and their potential benefits.

Michael was named by Graphic Design USA as "One of America's Six Leading Thinkers" in new media, and was awarded "The American Corporate Identity Award," a national honor. Most recently, he was featured prominently in the Connecticut Post speaking of the importance of responsive web design for business; appeared as a guest on Cablevision 12 News speaking about the importance of website design in business marketing efforts, and on the Greenwich Entrepreneurs News Talk AM WGCH radio program, speaking about mobile, social and app strategies for business.

Prior to founding his company, Designsite, in 1999, Michael was a Senior Associate at DMCD, where he was responsible for overseeing communications programs for CBS, Panasonic, Pepsi, IBM, among others.

Patricia Harmon
Creativity and Innovation Practice Leader

Patricia Harmon has delivered measurable results in the practice areas of innovation, creativity and emotional intelligence on behalf of leading global corporations including: Deutsche Bank, General Electric, NY Times and Jarden Consumer Products.  As an author, keynote speaker, lecturer, and consultant, Pat has designed and conducted advanced thinking workshops for thousands of executives and managers around the globe.  Prior to earning her PhD in Leadership Development, she was a sales executive in the pharmaceutical industry

Innovation / Creativity: Pat utilizes her proprietary Innovation Leadership Assessment tool TM (ILA) before developing and providing custom training for corporate clients that demonstrate deliberate methods to think creatively towards innovation.  In her keynotes and workshops, she utilizes a comprehensive collection of creative thinking techniques including: Lateral Thinking™ and Biomimicry, a science of eco-sustainability,

Cathy Clark
Media Practice Leader

Cathy Clarke helps companies raise their profile in order to grow their businesses, increase leads, and motivate partnership and investment. Clients are in the IT, telecommunications, renewable energy, smart grid, public safety, biometrics, entertainment, financial services, healthcare and other high growth markets . Drawing on 20 years of experience, she helps clients develop and refine their corporate messaging and product positioning. Through client-approved media and analyst relations programs, she utilizes traditional and social media strategy, and incorporates  trade show events and other thought leadership programs to earn positive media placements.

Cathy has obtained coverage in all of the top targeted business, consumer and trade publications and is an expert in developing effective inbound marketing strategies to raise their page rank, and to dramatically increase traffic, lead generation and sales from their website.  Her specialties include: targeted, results-oriented, PR, marketing communications and social media outreach. She develops content and utilizes marketing methodologies to help companies greatly increase traffic to their website and convert more of that traffic to leads through inbound marketing and SEO using HubSpot and other platforms.  She provides the strategic and tactical support needed to make any investor crowdfunding and strategic marketing program a resounding success. Cathy holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA from Mount Holyoke College.
