Seroka Develops Marketing and Public Relations Strategy for Raymond Keyes Associates

Challenge
When Raymond Keyes Associates, one of the nation’s largest site, civil and traffic engineering firms, relocated to Tarrytown, NY, they asked The Seroka Group to provide them with a marketing communications program.  Their overall goal was to increase their local client base and enhance their corporate image with customers and prospects in the tri state area.

Approach: 
Our initial involvement began with an assessment of their existing marketing communications program, at that time, a successful initiative that led to the firms positive reputation with clients.  Both the client and our agency realized that RKA’s primary need was in the area of marketing planning and project management targeted with a focused effort towards branding, customer events and media relations.  We developed a written marketing plan, the client approved it, and over the next two years, we implemented the campaign to generate positive results for the engineering company.

Marketing Planning – We helped formulate a long range marketing communications program that involved creating and distributing a new corporate brochure and series of project case histories.

Media Relations – We created and distributed news releases and by-lined articles for print media, with significant placements in The New York Times, Gannett Westchester Newspapers, Westchester and Fairfield County business Journals and other publications.  We distributed RKA’s new brochure to targeted trade publications and earned favorable publicity along with implementing a limited trade advertising campaign. 

Special events/speaking engagements/ITE seminars – We planned and implemented an open house ceremony for customers, prospects and community leaders. In addition to obtaining favorable media coverage, RKA obtained new business directly from having the event. We videotaped and photographed company executives as they gave presentations before professional trade groups.

Results:
According to our client, “The Seroka Group helped us plan and implement a marketing communications program over a multi-year time period and we are very pleased with the results.  Raymond Keyes Associates was acquired by TRC.
